Information clause on personal data processing and video monitoring

Personal data processing

Please be advised that:

    1. The Administrator of your personal data is the National Research Institute of Animal Production, which has its registered office in Kraków at ul. Sarego 2, 31-047 Kraków, hereinafter referred to as the Administrator; the Administrator performs processing operations on your personal data,
    2. The Administrator’s Personal Data Protection Inspector is Rafał Andrzejewski, e-mail: iod.r.andrzejewski@szkoleniaprawnicze.com.pl,
    3. Your personal data will be processed for the following purposes:
      • to conduct scientific research (basic, applied, industrial research), development work, research and development activities;
      • to adapt the results of scientific research, development work, and the results of research and development activities for practical application;
      • to implement the results of scientific research, development work, and the results of research and development activities in the field of animal science and related sciences, classified as “Scientific research and development work in the field of the other natural and technical sciences " and “Scientific research and development work in the field of biotechnology";
      • to conduct other business activities
      and will not be made available to other parties except for entities processing based on entrusting agreements,
    4. Your personal data are processed based on:
      • Act of 30 April 2010 on research institutes (Journal of Laws No 96, item 618), hereinafter referred to as the “Act”
      • Regulation of the Council of Ministers of 31 May 1950 to establish the National Research Institute of Animal Production (Journal of Laws No 24, item 210);
      • Regulation of the Council of Ministers of 2 November 2006 to grant the National Research Institute of Animal Production the status of a national research institute (Journal of Laws No 202, item 1484);
      • Act of 2 July 2004 on the Freedom of Economic Activity (Journal of Laws No 202 of 2015 item 584 with later amendments);
    5. Provision of your personal data results from legal regulations, for the purpose of concluding an agreement, and in the remaining scope on the basis of the consent to the processing of personal data,
    6. You have the right to:
      • ask the Administrator to access your personal data, rectify, remove or limit the processing of your personal data,
      • raise an objection to such processing,
      • transfer your data,
      • lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority,
      • withdraw your consent for personal data processing.
    7. Your personal data will not be subjected to automated decision making, including profiling,
    8. Your personal data will be stored for periods resulting from applicable law (the obligation to submit data – e.g. scientific research), up until the agreement has been fulfilled (e.g. agreement with a breeder) or consent withdrawn (e.g. recruitment).

    Video monitoring

    Please be advised that monitoring is performed at the National Research Institute of Animal Production, which has its registered office in Kraków at ul. Sarego 2, 31-047 Kraków. In accordance with art. 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation, hereinafter referred to as “GDPR”), please note that:

    1. The administrator of your personal data derived from monitoring is: the National Research Institute of Animal Production, which has its registered office in Kraków at ul. Sarego 2, 31-047 Kraków.
    2. The Personal Data Protection Inspector can be contacted at the email address: iod.r.andrzejewski@szkoleniaprawnicze.com.pl, Rafał Andrzejewski.
    3. Your data will be processed to ensure security in the workplace, to safeguard the assets and to keep the secrecy of information, the disclosure of which could damage the interests of the Administrator, based on art. 6 para. 1 letter c of the GDPR in connection with art. 22² § 1 of the Labour Law of 26 June 1974 (Journal of Laws 2018.917 of 16 May 2018). The aim of the monitoring is also to ensure the safety of persons staying on the premises of the Administrator (art. 6 para. 1 letters e and f )
    4. Your personal data may also be processed by entities with whom the Administrator has concluded personal data processing agreements, in particular with security firms.
    5. Your data will not be transferred to a third country or international organizations.
    6. Yours personal data will be recorded in electronic form as monitoring video and stored for no longer than a month from the date of recording, and where the recording is or may constitute evidence in proceedings conducted on the basis of applicable law – for the necessary period provided in legal regulations.
    7. You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you consider that the processing of your personal data violates the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, repealing Directive 95/46/EC (GDPR). The supervisory authority is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office. You also have the right to access your personal data.
    8. Based on the provided personal data, the Personal Data Administrator will not take automated decisions, including decisions resulting from profiling. (Profiling means any form of automated processing of personal data consisting of the use of personal data to evaluate certain personal aspects relating to a natural person, in particular to analyse or predict aspects concerning that natural person's performance at work, economic situation, health, personal preferences, interests, reliability, behaviour, location or movement).
