A celebration of the Polish countryside and gratitude to farmers
On 28 September 2025, the Polish Harvest Festival was held in Spała, bringing together farmers, representatives of institutions, organizations and residents from across the country. The programme included traditional harvest rituals, a colourful parade, artistic performances, and a rich exhibition section, which allowed visitors to learn about the activities of institutions and organizations related to agriculture. Nearly ninety exhibitors presented their offerings, including Polish food, handicrafts, harvest wreaths, and attractions for the whole family.
The National Research Institute of Animal Production among the exhibitors
The National Research Institute of Animal Production had the honour of participating in the event, presenting its scientific offer and ongoing projects. Our stand was visited by many guests – their interest, questions and discussions were extremely valuable to us, showing how important it is to combine science with practice.
Ceremonial distinction
The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Stefan Krajewski, personally thanked the Director of the National Research Institute of Animal Production, Tomasz Jacek, PhD Eng., for his involvement in organizing the event. The Director was presented with an official letter of thanks, which is a great honour for the entire team of the Institute and, at the same time, motivation for further work. This gesture emphasizes the role of the National Research Institute of Animal Production in building modern, innovative agriculture based on knowledge and scientific research, while working closely with economic practice.
