Scientific Council

The Scientific Council of the National Research Institute of Animal Production for 2025–2029 has 38 members, including:

  • 19 researchers and research/technical employees of the Institute
  • 19 people from outside the Institute

On the basis of Article 30(5) of the Act of 30 April 2010 on Research Institutes (Journal of Laws of 2024, item 534), the Scientific Council of the Institute also includes the Director and the Deputy Director for Scientific Affairs. Pursuant to Article 30(5) in fine of the Act on Research Institutes, these persons are not included in the number of persons specified in the Institute’s statutes.

The Institute is authorized to confer the degrees of Doctor and Habilitated Doctor of Agricultural Sciences in the discipline of Animal Science, as well as the degree of Doctor of Agricultural Sciences in the discipline of Biotechnology.
