The 5th National Field Days, accompanied by the 25th Regional Farm Animal Exhibition, took place in BoguchwaŁa on 14–16 June 2024. The event was hosted by the Podkarpackie Agricultural Advisory Centre. The National Field Days is the largest event for the agricultural sector. The motto of this year’s edition was “Modern Agriculture”.

The programme of the event was extremely intensive, and numerous thematic zones were specially prepared for visitors:
Innovation Zone
Rural Development Zone
25th Regional Farm Animal Exhibition Zone
Renewable Energy Sources Zone
Horticulture Zone
Beekeeping Zone
Science and Advisory Zone
Marketplace Zone
Agricultural Machinery Zone

Each zone was used for knowledge exchange and discussion. In the Science and Advisory Zone, organized by the Agricultural Advisory Centre in Brwinów, Radom Branch, the National Research Institute of Animal Production presented its scientific achievements. The first day of the exhibition was dedicated to young farmers and students of agricultural schools. The exhibition grounds welcomed about 1,500 students from agricultural schools from all over the country. Visitors to the stand of the National Research Institute of Animal Production could not only learn about the results of research conducted at the Institute and the current scientific and dissemination offer, but also taste dishes prepared on the basis of products from native breeds of livestock.

The biggest attraction of the stand were freshly hatched ducks and geese from the Waterfowl Genetic Resources Station in Dworzyska. The display of eggs of landfowl and waterfowl of native breeds was very popular. The stand also hosted an expert breeder Katarzyna Marcińczak, who produces soaps with milk from Sztumski mares of her own breeding. An additional attraction was the opportunity to taste the mare’s milk. Experimental Stations of the National Research Institute of Animal Production (IZ PIB ZD Kołuda Wielka, ZD IZ PIB Chorzelów sp. z o.o., ZD IZ PIB Odrzechowa sp. z o.o.) enriched the animal expositions at the 25th Regional Farm Animal Exhibition, presenting waterfowl and landfowl flocks, dairy cattle, Hucul horses, and Carpathian goats. The 5th National Field Days and its accompanying events were a huge organizational and attendance success.
