A team led by Aldona Kawęcka PhD, Professor of NRIAP, from the Department of Sheep and Goat Breeding of the National Research Institute of Animal Production is one of the contractors of the Horizon Europe – SCALE-it project: UpSCALing Efficient alternatives for contentious InpuTs in organic farming.

“SCALE-it: UpSCALing Efficient alternatives for contentious InpuTs in organic farming”, is a response to the European Commission’s call for “Fair, healthy and environmentally-friendly food systems from primary production to consumption (HORIZON-CL6-2024-FARM2FORK-02-1-twostage): Increasing the availability and use of non-contentious inputs in organic farming”.

The project is coordinated by the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture – FiBL Europe. FiBL is one of the world’s leading institutes in the field of organic agriculture. FiBL’s strengths lie in its interdisciplinary research, innovations developed together with farmers and the food industry, and the rapid transfer of knowledge from research to practice.

FiBL is committed to the international development of organic agriculture, cooperating with the European Union, the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and other national and international institutions through research and development projects.
