On 20 July 2025, at the Market Square in Łapanów, the National Research Institute of Animal Production participated in an event aimed at integrating the local community and creating opportunities for active leisure. The market square was filled with numerous residents, stands of rural housewives’ clubs and representatives of agricultural institutions.
The celebrations began with words of thanks to the institutions supporting the event, including the National Research Institute of Animal Production, and a welcome to distinguished guests, including: Piotr Gębczyński, Ph.D. Eng., Prof. of the University of Agriculture in Kraków; Wiesław Grochal, Deputy Director of the Małopolska Agricultural Advisory Centre; Zbigniew Maciaś, Deputy Director of the Regional Branch of the Agricultural Social Insurance Fund in Kraków; Łukasz Ożóg, Deputy Director of the Agency for Restructuring and Modernization of Agriculture; and Jakub Kosek, Deputy Director of the Field Branch of the National Support Centre for Agriculture in Kraków. The event was organized by the Łapanów Municipality Cultural Centre, which prepared an attractive programme, including a competition for the best culinary products of rural housewives’ clubs, performances by children’s groups and a concert by the Fire Brigade Brass Band.
The official part ended with words of thanks addressed to the guests, residents and friends of the municipality, delivered by the Mayor of Łapanów Municipality, Patryk Paszkot, and Deputy Minister of Infrastructure, Stanisław Bukowiec, who also conveyed many warm words from Deputy Prime Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz. Greetings were also conveyed, through their representatives, by the Governor of Małopolska – Krzysztof Klęczar, the Starost of Bochnia – Ryszard Drożdżak and many other distinguished guests.
