As part of the celebrations of the 75th anniversary of the National Research Institute of Animal Production, the Department of Cattle Breeding launched a series of training sessions entitled “7.5 meetings for the 75th anniversary”, dedicated to agricultural schools, farmers, and advisors from Agricultural Advisory Centres.
The first meeting took place on 14–15 May 2025 in Patok (Mazowieckie Voivodeship, Kałuszyn Municipality), at the Abramowski family farm.
The training covered issues of biosecurity, herb undersowing in meadows, cattle behaviour, and practical classes with a herd of Limousin cattle.
The participants were students of agricultural schools, and the lectures were given by Piotr Wójcik Ph.D., Professor of the NRIAP, and Katarzyna Zyber from the Mazovian Agricultural Advisory Centre based in Siedlce.
