On 29 June 2025, Modliszewice hosted the Open Day of the Świętokrzyskie Agricultural Advisory Centre, combined with the 18th Świętokrzyskie Livestock Exhibition. The event attracted numerous residents of the region, representatives of agricultural institutions, and guests from all over the country.

The Experimental and Innovation Zone presented modern agrotechnical solutions and the results of projects carried out in cooperation with farmers, entrepreneurs, and the scientific community. The Livestock Exhibition, dominated by rabbits, was particularly noteworthy, with the most beautiful specimens competing for the title of champion. At the stands of Świętokrzyska Forge of Flavours, visitors had the opportunity to taste regional delicacies, and rural housewives’ clubs presented their signature dishes as part of the Battle of the Regions competition. There were also attractions for the whole family – rescue demonstrations, performances by folk groups, competitions, and a play area for the youngest visitors. Our Institute’s stand was also very popular, where visitors could taste cheeses made from the milk of native breeds and learn about the Institute’s offer, its research activities, and current projects in the field of breeding, animal welfare, and sustainable agricultural development.

The event was held under the Honorary Patronage of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Czesław Siekierski, Ph.D., the Governor of Świętokrzyskie Province, Józef Bryk, and leading universities and scientific institutes, including the National Research Institute of Animal Production.

It is an honour for us to support initiatives that promote the transfer of knowledge from the world of science to agricultural practice and the implementation of modern, innovative solutions in Polish agriculture. We would like to express our sincere thanks for the invitation, trust, and inspiring meetings.
