On 9–10 December 2024 in Rome, Dorota Godyń, PhD Eng. and Anna Orchel-Szeląg, MSc Eng. participated in the meeting of the SCAR Animal Health & Welfare Research Collaborative Working Group (CWG).
It is worth emphasizing that SCAR plays a key role in the implementation of the European Union’s research and innovation priorities, supporting the European Commission, Member States and associated countries in challenges related to agriculture, fisheries, food systems, forestry and the bioeconomy. The SCAR CWGs provide a platform for knowledge sharing, confidence building and the development of joint research programs.
Participation in the work of the SCAR Animal Health & Welfare Research Collaborative Working Group provides a great opportunity for the staff of the National Research Institute of Animal Production, enabling them to establish cooperation with partners from all over Europe, and thus to realize interesting and innovative research projects. In addition, the participation of Dorota Godyń, PhD Eng., and Anna Orchel-Szeląg, MSc Eng., in the Group’s Steering Committee (Management Board) enables them to keep abreast of the latest trends, scientific achievements and developments in the area of animal health and welfare, while still being able to influence decision-making.
