The National Research Institute of Animal Production had the honour of being a partner and sponsor of this year’s Małopolska Food Fair “Taste with the University of Agriculture in Krakow” and the Małopolska Agritourism Exchange, which took place on the campus of the Hugo Kołłątaj University of Agriculture in Krakow at Balicka Street.
The event, organized annually by the University of Agriculture, has become an important space for promoting a healthy lifestyle, high-quality regional products, rural tourism, and active recreation. The offer was addressed to the residents of Kraków and the entire Małopolska Province, as well as to all those interested in a modern and responsible approach to nutrition.
Attractions and the idea behind the event
The Fair offered many attractions: cooking demonstrations, free nutritional advice, popular science lectures, and presentations of agritourism farms. Participants could also admire handicraft exhibitions, and children could enjoy a specially prepared zone. The whole event took place in the unique setting of the historic farmstead of the University of Agriculture, which further emphasized the exceptional nature of the event.
Participation of the National Research Institute of Animal Production
For the National Research Institute of Animal Production, participation in this event was an excellent opportunity to present its research activities and promote ideas related to modern animal breeding and sustainable food production.

As a research institute that has been supporting the development of Polish agriculture and animal production for years, we are proud to be involved in initiatives that combine science with practice and promote high-quality regional products.
A shared mission
We are delighted to have been part of an event that not only brings together the academic community, producers, and residents of the region, but also inspires conscious food choices, promotes a healthy lifestyle, and showcases the beauty and potential of the Polish countryside.
The National Research Institute of Animal Production is pleased to support initiatives that strengthen the link between science and practice and build public awareness of food quality and origin.
