Scientific Council

The Scientific Council of the National Research Institute of Animal Production for 2021–2025 has 38 members, including:

  • 19 researchers and research/technical employees of the Institute
  • 19 people from outside the Institute

On the basis of Article 30(4) of the Act on Research Institutes (Journal of Laws of 2016, item 371, as amended), the Scientific Council of the Institute also includes the Director and the Deputy Director for Scientific Affairs. Pursuant to Article art. 30(5) in fine of the Act on Research Institutes, these persons are not included in the number of persons specified in the Institute’s statutes.

The Institute is authorized to confer the degrees of doctor and habilitated doctor of agricultural sciences in the field of animal husbandry, as well as the degree of doctor of agricultural sciences in the field of biotechnology.
