The National Research Institute of Animal Production, together with the Małopolska Agricultural Advisory Centre based in Karniowice, organized a conference on 8 December 2022 entitled “Agritourism as an alternative to traditional product development”.
The introductory lecture was given by the Director of the Institute, Krzysztof Duda, Ph.D. Presentations were also given by Magdalena Szyndler-Nędza, Ph.D., Prof. of the NRIAP and Jolanta Calik, Ph.D. Eng. In the workshop part, Piotr Lenart, the coordinator of the “Niech Cię Zakole” culinary trail, conducted a workshop on the effective use of pork and native breed poultry in the tourist and gastronomic offer of the region.
