We are pleased to inform you that on 20 July 2022, the Minister of Education and Science appointed dr Krzysztof Duda, Ph.D., the Director of the National Research Institute of Animal Production, as member of the Committee for Scientific Policy, for the 2022-2024 term of office.
The Committee for Scientific Policy is a consultative and advisory body to the Minister in the field of national scientific policy. The Committee evaluates implementation of the state’s scientific policy; elaborates and gives opinions about documents, including those dealing with science development and innovation, the financing plan that determines funding for science; and determines investment priorities and plan of operations for the National Science Centre and the National Centre for Research and Development.
The Committee for Scientific Policy has twelve members appointed by the Minister from among representatives of the national scientific community.
