On 23 June 2023, the “First Balice Fair of Native Breeds” took place on the premises of the National Research Institute of Animal Production in Balice. The event was organized by the National Research Institute of Animal Production and the Association of Breeders and Supporters of Domestic Breeds of Goats.
During the fair, breeders presented products from animals on their farms. Visitors had the opportunity to taste and purchase the products.
Interested visitors could also learn about goat breeding, the secrets of milk processing and the conservation of the biodiversity of small ruminants. Bees had their stand, but by far the main attraction of the event was the show of native breed goats. The friendly animals stole the hearts of children and adults alike.
